Apple iOS 5.0.1 Update Not Solved Battery Issues For All Users
Apple rolled out their new iOS 5.0.1 update this morning in an attempt to help stop batteries draining quite so fast on their iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, after battery problems were reported by a number of users using iOS 5 over the last couple of weeks. Well the iOS 5.0.1 update has been used for sometime, and even after initial trials stating that the update would fix the problem, the update doesn’t seem to have fixed the problem for everyone. With many users complaining that their battery life is still draining away just as quickly. Apple users forums snippets: New update is no help at all. I opened Safari and lost 2 % just by opening it. Upgraded to 5.0.1 this morning. Still draining at the exact same rate. Unplugged with a full charge 2 1/2 hours ago, and already down to 80% with light usage. Just lost 2% during a 15 minute shower.
